HUE
Hue is a city directly under Thua Thien Hue province, Vietnam.
Hue used to be the capital (ancient capital of Hue) of Vietnam during the feudal period under the Tay Son Dynasty (1788 - 1801) and the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945). Currently, the city is one of the cultural, tourist, medical, education and training, science and technology centers of the Central - Central Highlands and the whole country. Famous places are the Perfume River and the legacy of feudal dynasties, the city has five UNESCO titles in Vietnam: Hue Monuments Complex (1993), Hue Royal Court Music (2003) , Woodblocks of Nguyen Dynasty (2009), Chau Ban Nguyen Dynasty (2014) and Poetry System of Hue Imperial Court (2016). In addition, Hue is also one of the localities that has the heritage of singing the hut has been recognized as the intangible cultural heritage of mankind.
